Manteca District Ambulance was founded in 1951 to provide ambulance services in Manteca. As one of the few non-profit ambulance companies in California, MDA is proud to currently serve Lathrop, Manteca, and Tuolumne County. Now managing over 20,000 calls a year between our 2 geographical divisions, MDA strives to provide its patients and community with excellent care and customer service. With one of the best response times in San Joaquin County and a willingness to work with those who are not able to pay, MDA does more than just transport people to the hospital ‐ MDA takes care of them.
